Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and PicsPivot for using picspivot.com and its image tools. PicsPivot is a brand of ToolsPivot and is operated from India by the ToolsPivot team ("we", "us"). By using PicsPivot you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. The service

PicsPivot offers free online tools to convert, compress, resize, crop, edit and protect images in formats including JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF, GIF, BMP, ICO and SVG. Most tools run inside your browser and never upload your image. The HEIC and TIFF converters, and some metadata jobs on formats a browser cannot read, process your file on our server. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly which is which.

The tools are free, need no account and add no watermark. We may add, change, limit or withdraw any tool at any time.

2. Who may use PicsPivot

You may use PicsPivot if you are able to enter into a binding agreement and your use is lawful where you are. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

3. Your images remain yours

• You keep every right you hold in the images you process. We claim no ownership of your files or your results.
• Where a file reaches our server, you give us only the limited permission needed to process it and return the result. We do not use your images for any other purpose and do not train anything on them.
• Files on our server are deleted automatically: converter files within 30 minutes of the job starting, and metadata files when the request finishes. Download your result promptly. Once a file is deleted we cannot get it back.
• Keep your original. Converting, compressing or resizing changes the file, and some changes cannot be undone.

4. Images you are allowed to use

Only process images you own or have permission to use. In particular, you agree not to use PicsPivot to:

• Edit, convert or redistribute someone else's work in a way that infringes their copyright or other rights.
• Remove a watermark, credit line, copyright notice or rights information from someone else's image in order to hide its owner or infringe their rights. Our metadata tools are for protecting your own privacy, not for stripping attribution from other people's work.
• Create, alter or share images that are unlawful, that sexually exploit anyone, that harass or defame a person, or that deceive people in a way that causes harm.
• Process images of other people in a way that breaks privacy or data protection law.
• Upload malware or files designed to attack or disrupt our systems.

5. Fair use of the service

To keep PicsPivot fast and free for everyone, some limits apply. The browser tools take up to 30 images per batch. The HEIC and TIFF converters take up to 50 photos per batch, up to 100 MB per file, and up to 120 photos per hour per visitor. We may change these limits. You also agree not to:

• Get around rate limits, batch limits or our bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile).
• Access the tools with automated scripts or bulk requests without our permission.
• Overload, disrupt or try to gain unauthorised access to the site or its servers.
• Resell, rebrand or present PicsPivot's tools as your own, or use automated access to build a competing service.

We may slow, block or suspend access that we believe breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

6. Results are provided as they are

We work hard to make the tools reliable, but we cannot guarantee every result. Please check the output before you rely on it. In particular:

• Compression and lossy formats (such as JPG, WebP and AVIF) discard some image data to save space. The quality you get depends on the settings you choose and on the image itself.
• Format conversion may not carry over every feature of the original, such as animation, transparency, colour profiles, layers or multiple pages, when the target format does not support it.
• SVG tracing produces an approximation of the original picture, not an exact copy.
• Metadata. Browser tools drop EXIF metadata by default and Remove Metadata from Photo is built to strip it, but image formats vary. If location privacy matters to you, check the result in the EXIF Viewer before you share it.
• Browser processing depends on your device and browser. Very large images or batches may be slow or may not finish on devices with little memory.

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. You use them and their results at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, PicsPivot, ToolsPivot and their operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from using or being unable to use the site, including lost or damaged images, a file that was deleted before you downloaded it, or a result that was not what you expected. Where the law does not allow liability to be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent the law permits.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold PicsPivot and ToolsPivot harmless from claims, losses and costs that arise from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms or the law, or a claim that an image you processed through PicsPivot infringed someone else's rights.

9. Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual property and ask the same of everyone who uses PicsPivot. If you think PicsPivot is being used to infringe your copyright, or that content on our site infringes it, follow the procedure in our Copyright and DMCA Policy. We may remove material, block a source or end a user's access in response to a valid notice.

10. Our content and brand

The PicsPivot name, logo, site design, text and other original material belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. Using the tools as intended is welcome; copying, scraping or republishing the site or its content needs our permission.

11. Advertising and other websites

PicsPivot is free because it shows advertising, and by using the site you accept that ads will appear. Our Privacy Policy explains the cookies involved and how to control them. The site may link to other websites, including our sister sites ToolsPivot and DocuPivot. Third-party sites and services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

12. Suspension and ending use

If you break these terms or misuse the service, we may suspend or end your access at any time. You are free to stop using PicsPivot whenever you choose.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the courts located in India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless local mandatory law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as PicsPivot changes. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after an update, the updated terms apply.
